So here's the thing, I'm the only son, my parents are old and sick (can barely walk) and my company wants to send me to Malaysia for work (because another company interviewed me, from my current company's platform, and hired me as a full time consultant), and my current company would be paying me the same Pakistani Salary, plus a daily allowance for food and stuff to stay in Malaysia and a place for me to stay at.
It may cause a delay in my plans to construct a house in Pakistan and get married, something I have been planning to do for almost 2 years now.
I think I should be paid more, not just a daily allowance to pay for food there, kinda sounds like exploitation of my circumstances.
Would you take this offer? Or negotiate for a higher raise?
I am brilliant at my job though, for context.
