No night shift pay increase? I quit.

As of April the national minimum wage in England went up, as is common pretty much everywhere night shift workers on average get £1 extra per hour due to “unsociable hours” this mostly standardised and the primary reason people work nights, my former employer however does not agree and just because the minimum wage is now level with night rate does not mean night pay will increase, despite every night shift worker (5 in total) explaining that the extra £1 is the only reason any of us work nights and that without it we would all relocate to day shifts elsewhere, our warnings were ignored so now 3 of us have left with the remaining two left attempting to negotiate, Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
