Ok so for context last year I should have received my employee annual review in June- August. I received it March after finally escalating the issue to the head of HR. they only back dated the raise 3 months because “annual raises are not guaranteed it is based on the financial state of the company” I was also told at this time that my bosses boss would be sending me a schedule so I would know when my next review was coming. I have never been sent said schedule.
So June 16th was my 5 year anniversary so on June second I sent my boss and my bosses boss an email asking for this schedule and also if the company would be giving raises this year. Because if it's based on the state of the company they should be giving the raises to everyone or no one right?
So I sent a reminder email the following week. And another one the week after that. So the next week, being last week, I included hr and they said they spoke with my bosses boss and they would get wth me early next week, that being this week, with the answers to my questions. So tomorrow is Friday and I still haven't gotten an answer.
To add to this whole mess, I am WFM and have not been given any metrics or goals by which to evaluate my performance. There was an activity we were supposed to do with our boss a few months ago to clearly set these expectations for everyone. It was in like a list we have if messages and reminder and such so I asked my boss like can we do this and then it disappeared from my inbox without us ever doing it. So not only am I having to fight in order to get my review once they tell me WHEN they are going to do it,I have to then ask HOW they are going to do it BEFORE they do it so it doesn't seem like I'm whining afterward.
Why is it so hard to get like a ten cent raise?!
