NO WFH?

I work at a company where our VP of IT is an extreme micromanager. Our manager approached our team about working from home over the holidays as we are very slow during the winter months. We made up a schedule and everything was good to go, until it reached the VP. Then he shut it down and said since I was 1 month away from a year he was going to make a new policy that you can't work from home until you have a year with the company (awesome since we all know that 12th month is when you really prove yourself to be trustworthy). He also put a ton of rules on what we have to do when we work from home, stuff that would be ridiculous for people to do in the office. I talked to the guys on the team and found out that we have…

I talked to the guys on the team and found out that we have unlimited sick time. So, come the days when I was supposed to come in to work since I couldn't work from home…would you look at that, I was sick. Now you don't get to get any production from me and I don't have to deal with work rules.
