For the past 9 months of my life I have been working for one of the worst human beings, which is my Manager. Before he was my Manager, he was my “friend” for the last ten plus years. He recruited me to come work for him and it has been one of the worst mistakes of my life. I've never felt so disrespected, belittled, gaslight, unvalued, under appreciated, and disgusted that I was ever friends with this person. He is so unprofessional and for the past 4 months I have been looking for a job.
Well.. I finally got offed a new job! And the advice I am looking for is should I go to his Boss with my exit interview and let him know of my experience working for my Manager and blow him up? There's a lot of people here that down right hate my Manager and part of me wanting to talk to his Boss is doing it for those co-workers. However, my Manager has his Boss in his back pocket. So part of me thinks it will do nothing. Or I can just get out of here, never talk to that “friend” again, and forget this nightmare.
