Discriminatory Act or Not

Julie developed a medical condition requiring reasonable accommodations. HR approved the accommodations, but her colleagues aggressively questioned her why she needs accommodations. This hostile behaviors of several coworkers only got worse over time. They made sure Julie does not have her lunch break, pushed over an endless amount of work on her, and canceled her vacation. Julie’s supervisor stated he can only control himself, but not other people as people always do what they want to do. Federal disability system offered a free disability and accommodation awareness training for Julie’s work place. Julie’s supervisor emailed to multiple individuals, including Julie, it would be inappropriate for them to come in and lecture his people on how to work with Julie.
