Offer and Contract specify job is ‘Remote’. Can the company force employees to a ‘Work Hub’?

Family member — not me — has a senior management position with a pre-IPO company with headquarters in two different states. She works from home three out of every four weeks, but spends a week at the headquarters, alternating between the two sites. Since it's specifically called a 'remote' position in the employment contract, can the company demand she move to one of the sites, permanently? Thanks in advance!
