Ok for salaried workers to leave early?

So Iam project manager for a remediation company. Been working with these people for 3 years now. Today I got done with work really fast. There was nothing on schedule, did the best I could to be productive I follow up with whatever customers, my accounts receivable is 0 and no issues whatsoever with any on going projects. Left work at 1230 boss calls at 150 telling me Iam salaried and that Iam supposed to be productive or find something to do. Marketing or whatever. Which is not in my job title. I mean I don’t get the whole notion about salaried when the whole reason why salary is an option is if you get done sooner you’ll still get paid the same. Also, the other branches that over sees always gets a handout. Like for example the 2nd branch in particular only brought in 7 thousand dollars in 2 months no reviews and high accounts receivable. Which is crazy. I can literally make that in Uber eats and door dash. No serious action has been done. Just a pat on the back. You can do better type of thing.

The third branch is in a super busy city they have slow days. Don’t bring enough money and have really high accounts receivable and barely any reviews.

Me on other hand. We are a profitable company I bring a good amount of jobs. No accounts receivable and surpass expectations on reviews by a mile. Just to give an idea at my branch we have 205 five star reviews and the other branches have 75. What do you guys think? Am I wrong for leaving early or right?
