One of our salesmen quit after the company started giving him more tasks outside his position

I'm not surprised they did this and he eventually quit. He was hired to be in sales and he did do that but then the company started him on a “side project” of him communicating and reporting on what the IT division of the company was doing for one of our big clients. There was no financial bonus for thus. And he was the only person on the sales team doing this. He finally quit and I don't blame him. Our VP got mad in the meeting saying other companies wonder why we have a high turn over rate. It's because you fucking try to cut labor costs by making one worker do the job of two people!
