So I started this job in January, at 21/ hr. Recently, I've been getting OT, and it's paid at 31.50. Isn't it supposed to be time + a half? I realize it's only a 50 cent difference, but that could be more money in my pocket.
Second issue, I signed up for the insurance and disability, the whole 9. My normal deduction should be 70.90, except they never started taking it out. So now they want to deduct extra from my check to “catch up” on what I didn't pay since signing up. On 4 checks, they want to take out 115.27. On 2 more, they want to take out 95.90. I have quite a bit of financial strain at the moment, or I wouldn't be taking the time to write this out. What can I do, if anything? Location is Georgia, US.
