Overqualified and available… supervisor not giving me hours

So in my career field I have the highest level of certification you can get and I even worked in a director role in my field for several years. At my new place of work I just want to do the entry level work and I'm perfectly fine with that. I'm well overqualified for it. I am even a certified trainer for these roles, however… my new supervisor, even though I say I am available, is not scheduling me for some open shifts. This is the 2nd month in a row that they have done this. I am arguably more qualified than they are also. I have 15 + years experience, they have 3 or 4. I just don't understand. It should not be this hard to get work when you are over qualified. I'm not even an ass about it – I never bring it up. Long story short,…
