So I just started working at a small company in the netherlands. There are only about 5 people here. We have lockers but they can't be locked, so everyone could access it. They want me to put my phone in there… but my bank pass and drivers licence is in it aswell.
I told them I that I dislike the idea of leaving my valuable stuff unsupervised. They just told me that I should do it anyway and nobody will steal from my locker. I don't know these people so I'm not sure whether to trust them.
Do I have the right to refuse? I don't need my phone at work, but I don't want to risk getting it stoleb. Not sure what to do in this situation.
