I know everyone hates these ads, but I think Jesus would have been antiwork. https://preview.redd.it/g1u40aft9w4b1.png?width=792&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=e8381e1430475e105867bb2f39c13988d1eb5c08
I was laid off recently after working in my position for 5 years. I have 10+ years experience and relevant education. I wonder how many other qualified people are also turned off by this and decide not to apply? Why can’t I just submit my resume, interview, and perform my skill in exchange for money?
Most awesome CEO ever. He gets it.
Tired of being the responsible one
Started a business. Business partner is also a friend. I put in more time and effort. I don't mind doing it. Business partner won't care to even do the bare minimum. Also has a hard time showing up for the scheduled meetings. I am tired of gatekeeping. None of my ways work. Had an open discussion but nothings changed. Also, don't want to be too harsh. I could end up losing a friend. How does one handle this situation?
Hello Redditors, I am searching for valid reasons to decline my boss's invitation to a farewell event for a colleague at his house. The event falls on a Sunday, which is my day off, and I do not want to waste it. Our workplace has a toxic atmosphere, despite being referred to as a “family” workplace, which is ironic. Thank you for your attention.
I am 31 and I have a history of passing kidney stones ever since I was 12. I am currently at what feels like the end of passing a kidney stone. My job requires a doctors note but I don’t go to the ER for kidney stones unless it’s stuck or hurts more than usual. I feel stupid going to the ER after I feel like I passed the stone but I absolutely have to have a doctors note. Is this a bad idea on my end? What do I do? Should I lie about what’s wrong with me when I call in and hope they don’t ask for a note? I’m so stressed and I’m hurting so bad right now
Manager swears they hate micromanagers….
Thank god I'm already looking for a new job.
I’m not always supportive of the stuff in the sub but I saw a listing while job hunting that listed it’s requirements as a bachelors degree with 5 years of related experience with the listed wage as 13.50/hr. The amount of fumes coming off of me I probably looked like a cartoon character with smoke coming out of his ears. I literally average out to double that wage per hour at my part time restaurant job that I’ve had for less than a year. I couldn’t imagine what shitty job you would have to be leaving in order to accept that position. Gee wiz
These people can fuck all the way off
Couldn’t find any info on them streams was hoping a little coverage would help them ( also sorry on the bad pics I couldn’t stop properly cuz of the traffic)
