Basically title. Besides the obvious “control the workforce”, is there an obvious reason why my bosses would be upset over being like 1-5 minutes late at a job where that has absolutely no effect? It's been like a this at most “unskilled” jobs I've had, yet at “higher end” jobs there's a grace period. Is there an actual reason for this?
Doesn’t matter if your opinion of your coworker is positive or negative. Stand with them. Because they’ll do the same thing to you and you’ll wish someone helped. Trust me. You’re expendable. Together you’re unstoppable.— player/coach (@CMPunk) May 21, 2022
Even if only a temporary one. There is no excuse for knowing better than to post idiotic Boomer propaganda. Especially here.
This is insanity

Underemployment+inflation
Many people were in a rough spot before the pandemic, This issue isn’t talked about enough most good jobs today have unrealistically high experience/qualifications that exempt people who could learn the role within a couple of weeks the opportunity of making a living wage. Overall inflation has exasperated this issue and has left to bottom half of America clinching onto their financial health…often times living with 4 plus working adults in a single household to still be only making ends meet. The true living wage vs what the government defines as a poverty line is off by thousands. True living wage today.
