I was listening to the radio on the way to Easter dinner today. In between songs the DJ’s come on to tell us about how Amazon wouldn’t allow a delivery driver to leave during his shift even though he was suffering from a fucking heart attack! The DJ then says “Amazon isn’t completely heartless though, they let him go on his bathroom break.” At which point the other DJ giggled gleefully and the music started again. This shit is FUCKED UP and everyone acts like it’s a damn joke. It’s so annoying and I can’t imagine how the worker feels, they didn’t even mention whether or not the delivery driver was okay.

Our management is extremely toxic and threatening us constantly. I want to retaliate by leaking what products we have to our competitors. They would love to know.

I am having a really difficult time finding a decent paying job, the one I have is absolute trash and I would really love to be able to sit down and ask people hey are these things normal for my job title in my line of work or am I being used and abused, and fishbowl seems to be a theme for that, but I’m not really sure about it, has anyone checked it out?

So I've worked for a garage door company for little over 2 years now. I have gotten a number of raises but they really arent keeping up with the expense of living these days (shocker). I am waiting on a union list for another career but in the mean time I cant survive on my current pay anymore. I live about an hour from work so gas is already killing me. My solution is to tell my boss how much I want in a raise (about 2.50 more than i make now) and the ability to take the truck home. I strongly believe I can easily get those from another job but I don't want to deal with finding a new place if i dont have too, but i am willing. Im just stuck on what to say or how to ask for these things. I could go on all…
