Homelessness and Starvation
Lives? Stolen. Hang The Elephant.
I always see people who say “ugh I hate work” “I hate people” “my life is a mess” are usually workaholics, make a lot of money, take their jobs too seriously, and aren’t the most pleasant people to work with. I worked with a girl like this. She said she hated working, hated people (the stereotypical “ugh I hate people”) but she brown nosed to my boss that she hated working from home during covid! LOL. She ALWAYS would stay like 3 hours after work and said she would rather work SUPER early in the morning. Anyone I know who has anxiety, struggle with the 8-6 work schedule and are more introverted would never be like that, they actually mean when they say they don’t care for people and don’t like working corporate hours. They actually want to be free. I always noticed people like the girl I worked with…
My girlfriends job normally gives out check stubs the day before direct deposit hits which is always every other Friday, tomorrow is supposed to be pay day and no stubs were given out today. Also, apparently some of her coworkers get their paychecks early like Wednesday due to using those special banks like chime, none of those coworkers got paid early though.

I work in a clinic for one of the largest hospital systems on the planet. We’d recently been told we would be getting an economy raise— not a lot but enough that it would make a $100-$200 difference per paycheck. This upcoming paycheck is meant to be the first to reflect our raises, so we got our pay statements in our email today and our most senior employee, who’s been with the hospital for 22 years, had not received this raise. She works so hard and then goes home to take care of her mom with dementia. She never stops. She deserves it more than any of us. But because she has a final written warning (from missing too many days in the weeks leading up to when her father died) she doesn’t get it. And it’s bullshit. It makes me so angry. It wasn’t a performance raise, they’re literally…
Thinking about quitting my job
I’ve worked in the same restaurant for a little over 2 years now and while it was fun for a while, the endless stress of it and the rude customers we get on daily basis is starting to get to me. This wasn’t really a problem for me but since we got a new boss work has just been a nightmare. We’ve all tried to give her a chance but all she does is talk shut about us behind our backs and gaslight us. When she found out people had been complaining about her she threatened our managers to end their manager position if they didn’t end the shit-talk. She threatened to reduce a coworkers hours because the coworker refused to cover a shift no one was able to and when the boss said she couldn’t say no to it, my coworker called our higher up boss which our boss…
