Reasoning being, I would be in the office more often than he was. The database requires 2 factor authentication and needs to be connected to a phone number in order for anyone to log in. I am being charged to get my paycheck
I started a new job and got my first paycheck and saw there was a $1.75 direct deposit fee. We get paid every week so quick math that is $7 per month. My boss says I shouldn’t do a paper check, and I may be charged a larger fee depending on what mail service used for the paper check. Is this a normal thing?
A perfect example of “everywhere is hiring” doesn't translate to being able to live out on your own. Heck even with another partner it's tight.

This is just a vent about how I don't get paid enough to even afford the basic necessities one needs to survive. I make $16.75 an hour, and I'm having to go to the food bank every two weeks to survive off rice, beans, and bread. I live with two roommates and still struggle paying the rent. Every month, it's something with one of them; they can't pay their share of rent, electric, water, internet, etc. I feel like I'm constantly drowning and can't get my head above water.
