Seems perfectly reasonable for one of the richest people in the state to make 33% more than me for doing nothing as he let's me pay every employee who does the work for him. I work 300 days/year for months at a time 7 days/week at any and all hours of the day or night and he has his own 3-hole golf course at his private estate that puts most country clubs to shame. I am so glad to work for this “job creator” who somehow invents freight that wouldn't exist if he didn't make more off of my labor than I do. Nel is Not Employer Legally for my purposes… Total Revenue Earned by Labor: $247,500 Total Revenue Paid to Me: $193,000 – Nel's cut: $54,500 Truck Truck Payments: $50,000 – Nel's profit from truck purchase: $20,000 Nel's Trailer Expense: $3,500 annually All other fees charged back to drivers:…
They won't just be burning the midnight oil. They will be burning the 3 a.m. oil,” he continued. “They won't even leave the factory type of thing, whereas in America people are trying to avoid going to work at all. Taken from Business Insider. Musk was commenting on workers in China vs the US.
Employer offered me a remote job that will pay me every Monday but for the 3 months I'm there it's never on time. I followed up a couple of times and raised the issue and was told “so sorry, from now on it's gonna be every Monday.” Never happened. Still late. Now it's Friday and still no paycheck. I wanna quit but my friend said that it's better to leave when I have something lined up. I have a financial cushion for several months though…
“don’t care if you can’t afford it”
I've got a great buddy John. John is about 60, give or take and is retired from a hard job. John and his wife have been able to afford fun but responsible lives. John worked a job that was physically hard. He delivered lots of heavy things to my bf's work. That's how we all met. When John was retiring, he was training in his replacement. I vividly remember hearing John say things to the extent of “they'll (john's employer) never pay him what they pay me”, and “they hired him for damn near what they hired me for 30 years ago”. I don't think his replacement ever heard John say this stuff. John was very professional on the job. The replacement isn't doing as good of a job as John did. Yes he's newer, but it's been at least a year. But, I also think in today's society, he…
it ain’t much but it’s an honest banana
My company located here in China is a big MNC. They have implemented a no 3rd vaccine no entry starting on June 2022. I have been working from home since Feb 2022 and i do not want to go back to office arrangement since it so much better for my mental health and well being to work remotely. I have not given my response if i have deciced to take a 3rd jab. Honestly, i do not want to take anymore vaccines since i was infected by covid back feb 2022 and i have recovered pretty well. Any advice? Particulary from people working here in China (dont want to mention which city)?
What do I do to curb this thoughts?
