My coworkers mom has terminal cancer and is almost guaranteed to die in the near future. She's had to take a few days off to go and help take care of her and spend time with. The last few days our boss has been going up to her and asking her how many days she'll need off when her mom dies. She's also been asking if her boyfriend who also works with us will need the days off too. This has been the same line of questioning, harassing her about this when she currently has no idea what she's going to do. I think it's a bit fucked up asking your employee to make a plan for you for when their parents die. Is this kind of line of questioning acceptable? What can she do about it?

I explained it’s taken years for me to understand it and why I’m trans and that no one chooses it and that I really love my job and I’ve don’t nothing wrong. I’ve went out of my way to fix leaking pipes and things so it would be easier to clean of the evenings Co worker told me they had a meeting about me. They’re trying to find a way to fire me. Several co workers confirmed and I really don’t know what to do it’s been several days and I feel constantly stressed at work, I feel I have to make sure it’s all perfect and I went from really wanting this job and loving what I do to crying about it every day. I’m starting to be miserable and I wanna quit but I don’t want him to get away with this Also I haven’t saw it myself…
