Inflation is cutting your already small wages (higher cost in fuel, food and soon heating). Employers continue to not match wages to keep up with inflation. No student loan forgiveness and its been 2 years of a democrat majority in the house, senate and (white house). Interest rates have made owning a house a dream further than ever before. If you are lucky to have a 401k dont check your balance today. So here is the question. Why are you still contributing to the failed capitalistic juggernaut that continues to step on your neck by making you a slave. Edit: My intend is to create a debate and opinion share. This manager that is new to me – was on maternity leave when I started working here 6 months ago – comes back and first thing she tells my colleague and I is to come in every Monday and Tuesday from next week for no reason whatsoever. My position is in marketing and remote and I told my boss specifically I will only take the job if I can work from home whenever I pleas, to which she agreed. I have been remote ever since and so is everyone else in the team. I told my boss what the manager said and she responded with “head company asked all offices to do this” – yet this rule only applies to us 2, not other colleagues in our team or management.
