My mother died a couple of weeks ago. As her Durable Power of Attorney it was my responsibility to fly out, meet with her medical team, make end of life decisions, and make all funeral arrangements, close bank accounts, etc. This all happened suddenly, and Mom had the temerity to take her downward turn while I was at work. They are our super stars!” (as if sending messages past midnight is a key performance indicator of some kind.) pAnyways, every now and then I write up my updates during work hours but then automate the messages to be sent at 2 a.m. I got more praise than I ever did my entire time at the company 🤣
