Title is pretty self-explanatory, but thought I'd throw in some context. My shit manager mentioned back in March that I wasn't the best suited for the position (this is putting it lightly btw, as he was a bit harsher with me during the meetings). But he insisted that I wouldn't be replaced. Instead, they would hire around for someone who could do “some of what you're currently doing, but its for a completely different role” or some BS to that effect. Anyway, he emailed me the other day to advise that the new starter will be doing ALL of what I'm currently doing and I'll need to train them. Keep in mind, the only knowledge I have of me being “let go” is verbal. There are no email threads or notices or comments, just those 1 on 1 meetings with him. Hi, can I get peoples opinion on what happened the other day.
