Uhh I just lost my father. I think you can handle losing two CSRs for the day. https://ibb.co/hLZ6BwT
oh boy. Australia.
Like why? My manager is ready to pounce on a call and often takes up way more time than was designated just blabbing about things no one asked about. 4 hours of my work day is taken up by the dumbest meetings. I don't even know how they get any work done. Having daily “huddles” that could easily be teams messages. I don't understand, it's making me way more unproductive and so far my work has been piling up because I have such small windows of focus time. Not to mention, they require the camera to be on consistently and she constantly remarks on people's appearances – like “looks like you need a coffee”, “what is wrong with you guys this morning”. Ffs
My supervisor was out with Covid this week. I have set in office days 2x a week. Just heard our director completely confused/annoyed as to why I didn't come into the office that extra day. Since when is it my job to cover for my supervisor?

Surprised they’re understaffed?
Hmm very interesting
I used to work at a very large, well-known factory. Every year, they would throw a little Christmas party in the big lunchroom for everyone, with free lunch for the day complete with a fake Santa handing out Christmas gifts. One year, we got Yeti mugs that had our company’s logo on the side. They were actually pretty nice! Navy blue with the outline of our state and a little heart on the location of our job as well as the company’s name and motto. Next paycheck, we all noticed a deduction of $30 with the word “gift” next to it. Now I guess this wasn’t the first year they’ve done this, but it’s the first a few of us noticed. A coworker of mine went to HR asking to return the gift because they couldn’t afford the extra $30 for a mug they didn’t want. HR told them it’s…
