So basically my company has incentives for people who hit a monetary target, they’re on the sales floor. Any number of sales people can hit the target and get to head to a 5 star restaurant and get the day off, once a month. I work back office and we are also included in this incentive, but our targets are obviously different. Also, only one of us out of 15 can go even if we all hit the target. Is this bullshit or makes sense because we don’t “directly” make the company money?
If you all quit they will simply replace you and keep doing what they are doing. If you unionize you protect yourself and future employees.

So I just had a baby a few days ago and had planned to take at least two weeks to help out with the baby and just relax a little while we all get acclimated. My boss is now telling me I can only take 5 days. I told him not to worry as I won’t be coming back period. Sorry for the rant just needed somewhere to share how disgusting people can be.
