A few weeks ago I saw a post on this sub recommending websites for doing your taxes yourself for free and i can’t remember what they were and i can’t find the thread. Anybody mind making recommendations? Also uh f*ck capitalism?

Florida Home Air Conditioning
Just quit the biggest scam company I have ever heard of, and took a few dudes with me to the new place! Schedule is alternating m-f and m-sat. Then “on call” every six weeks. So 730-? From Monday to sunday for that week, but you don't get paid for being on the phone with customers, the office, only while driving or on site. Either way, they are a self proclaimed sales company. Sell air scrubbers! Only way to make money is to sell an overpriced(1700, currently) item that doesn't work to people that are financing the nine dollar “tune up”, one paid in quarters. Boss doesn't listen, doesn't want input on how to fix the ongoing problems, just wants air scrubbers. Anyways, last thing he told me when I turned in my van was that “money is the most important thing in the world”. I was shocked, and asked if…
I worked for Bunnings warehouse which is a HUGE hardware store in New Zealand I was in the timber yard, like always super short staffed so I was running all day. A customer was lurking very close to the sideways forklift while it was moving so I asked him not to step infront of it he then screamed “I'm not a fucking moron” then stepped right in front of one of the wheels when I screamed stop he went NUTS! About half way threw this shift I was stationed on the door checking receipts by this point I'm pooped! from trying to keep up with customers shop lifting and needing help, the brand new store manager caught me leaning against a pile of drywall for half a moment and jumped on me asking why everyone thinks it's OK to sit on the job. I spent 30 mins trying not to…
What’s your financial escape plan?
I hate working, I knew it since the day after I turned 18 when I got my first job. I instantly knew that it was not what I want to be doing for the next 40-50 years of my life. I worked all through out college (30-35 a week) and recently graduated debt free with the money that I made plus little grants and scholarships here and there. I’m currently paying off my parent’s mortgage, I’ve been doing it for the past one and a half year now, and has about 5 months to go before it’s paid off. My immigrant parents work minimum wage jobs and I grew up dirt poor and it was something that I promised myself that I’d do for us once I am able to. After that I plan on saving up a huge deposit on my own home (a condo) and working to to…
Stop Going To Work
Everyday when you wake up you have a choice of how you want to spend your day. Start it by doing something for yourself, truly for yourself, even if it's only a small token. Make you first. Then make the choice to spend time during the day performing tasks that result in income so you can make additional choices. Yes, it's mindset. You don't “have to” go to work. 1) A business advertises “help wanted.” 2) Offer to “help” them. 3) You come to an agreement that they can expect you to help them at specified times/days and they'll compensate you for the time you've helped. You are trading your time for money, nothing more, nothing less. 4) When you wake up choose to go help someone, don't resign yourself to working for someone. No one owns you. 5) If they don't appreciate the help you provide, go help someone…
