And I can’t stop thinking about how my boss told me about the $8 incentive for people who pick up certain shifts. I feel like she accidentally told me because following that she told me that it will be ending in a month. I thought to myself – well training will be at least a month so by the time I’m done I won’t be getting those incentives. Apparently they did that because they were so short staffed which is understandable but it’s kind of irritating that a company can give you incentives like that and just take them away. There’s a lot about this job I have found discouraging but that one’s been on my mind lately.
I really just need to vent. I'm so sick of retail keeping everyone under full time, I'm tired of this lame excuse for a crew. We are pulled away from our work to go push shopping carts multiple times a day meanwhile my area of work suffers. Do they not realize they are hurting their own company? Well never mind because they boast about their profits exceeding last year's every meeting but I'm still getting paid $12 an hour. I work at a grocery chain in a dairy. I don't really care if they find this as I'm not saying anything untrue and I'm not afraid to quit or be fired anymore. I came in on Friday because I'm sick of coming in Mondays to multiple trucks sitting in the cooler from the weekend. Two people run the entire dairy on weekends. During the week it's 2-3. Aka not nearly…
I hope you guys are unionizing. Fuck this system
