Got an underperforming on review after doing something supposedly no one else on the team could do. It was given to me after no one else was able to solve it. It took a while but I got it done and they thought it might not be possible, and saved the company tons of effort Anyway… time to start the job search

It seems to me that this once important movement has simply become an echo-chamber for people who want to do whatever the fuck they want at work and being told “no” is enough to send them on a vengeful online rampage. I'm not a manager but some of the shit you people complain about wouldn't stand in my workplace if I was either. The hottest post right now is a poster telling staff that turning up on your days off and standing behind tills and counters without uniform and distracting clocked-in employees, is unacceptable. I don't see how this is a bad thing? You're making the place look unprofessional by walking around in staff areas without looking like a staff member, distracting on-the-clock employees and just generally getting in the way? Hanging around food prep areas when you don't need to be there is also a health concern. The poster…
