I work for the federal government. I’ve been told that getting piss tested for cannabis is totally possible, but in the ten years I’ve worked for them I’ve only heard of one person getting tested. Anyone have any experience with this? I’d like to use weed, but obviously don’t want to lose my career over it.

Seems everyone says the rent is too high. Is this due to a supply problem of housing ? I thought well increase the supply to drive down prices, but doesn’t it cost fair bit to build housing ? There are the contractor labor fees, the material costs, even fridge, stove and dishwasher has to be manufactured at a cost. So how do these costs get paid for ? Suppose land was free what is basic minimum amount to build a 1500 sq foot house that is just a normal house ( pass building codes and not some shack slapped together )
I'll provide mine. I use to work in a big tech company in Canada as a team lead of decent size. One morning, a flash snowstorm hits us, from 10 to 12, about a feet of snow fell and there was another foot announced for the rest of the day. I showed up to work as most of the team except for management who decided to work from home ( a perk only they had ). Around 11, I send an teams message to my superior saying the weather is awful and would asked if people could finish up and leave early. No response. I moved recently, in January. I had been with my previous job for 5 years, and my previous job before that for 6 years. Well, I started this gig on Feb 1st. The agreement was that he would match my previous salary, and I'd be just that. Salary. Everything seemed good. He seemed like a good guy, and I really liked the crew. Well, it turns out this guy wanted me to work 56 hours a week. That's 64 hours hours a month over 160 hours. This alone should be criminal. But I moved out to the country to try and heal from a breakup and alot of other stuff that has happened in the last year and a half.
