I am researching my future career, and based on my personality and conditions I'd only like to work 15 – 25 hours a week. I don't care to progress through the ranks or even become rich. I just want a basic income enough to enjoy the life. I'll be studying at university/college this year and i'd like to choose a degree that has a pathway to this style.

Boss shorting hours/stealing tips
My new boss/owner of the company has been shorting hours purposely for about two months, diddnt notice at first because we diddnt have access to paystubs, but when my paycheck was the exact same (to the penny) 3 checks in a row I knew something was up. I started asking the other manager/employees if it’s the same for them and sure enough it is. Then, he told us that “from now on, I will be charging each employee $100/month to accept tips to cover cc processing fees” so I looked up what the law was and the law states he’s only suppose to charge what our cc processing fee is on the tips, and that 100 a month is about 25% of our tips (on a good month) then I finally got access to the paystubs and noticed that he’s clocking me out at 8:00 on the dot every day…

This is my first time posting, sorry if it's too long and for any grammatical errors! I recently accepted a part-time job offer for $18 an hour. As a college student I feel like this is a great deal! Like with any job I have to take a drug test, which is no big deal just another thing I have to do. The place where I have to go take said test is the most dingiest shady clinic in town.
