I finally called out my former employer
Reposting my original post I deleted. Thought I could add photos with text but I don't post much on Reddit and didn't realize I couldn't. When the pandemic started I was working for Fix Studio in Minneapolis, MN. They closed down but still had myself and another girl working without clocking in saying they'd pay us a “bonus” for the hours. Well jump forward a few months, my roommate and boyfriend are both displaying symptoms of COVID and so I call in and go get tested. Because this was before testing was readily available it took much longer to get results and you were called with results rather than emailed at the time. My employer was pissed I missed work and demanded documentation of my test (I had told them I got results over the phone) and so this time I told them the state doesn't require documentation for missing…

I was absolutely astonished at how much was back there, enough groceries to stock everything that was missing from the shelves. After my anger had subsided and I…
Getting over jealousy
I’m female (23) and I have a coworker (30 & let’s call her Zoe) as well as a boss (34 & calling him Paul) I’m single, Zoe is married with a kid, and Paul is single as well. I’ve talked to her about Paul not talking to me much and she told me she and him mainly talk about work and he isn’t too talkative, which isn’t necessarily untrue. My problem is, our department is severely understaffed. We need about 9-10 people to our jobs well but we’re operating with seven, which means our manager is doing triple the work that all of us are doing. I am eager to learn more to help out the team (though Zoe believes I’m trying to…
Remote jobs with nothing to do?
Anyone here have a remote job where they literally don't do anything all day? Any advice to find one?
