If the top 10% has more wealth than the bottom 90%, what is keeping the bottom 90% from collectively investing in their own equity firm to build wealth for each other?? Marx was right about so many things when it comes to capitalism. Unless your employer gives you stock, you have no skin in the game. It is the workers who can make or break a company. It is the stock holders who benefit. Don't get me wrong, there are investors who go in for the sole purpose of turning a profit, then leave that company in shambles after. Boeing is a really good example of greedy investors. If equity firms had morals, they would never be so heavily invested healthcare or pharmacy. Because they are there to make money and do not care about your health or how much you pay for your prescriptions. If things were done the…
let CompanyX = a top tech company (guess which one) let DeveloperX = you Hello, Thank you for reaching out, but I don't want to work for CompanyX at this time. Why? CompanyX is known to have some of the most rigorous interviews in the industry, and I honestly don't have time to study for weeks about obscure data structures and algorithms (that aren't used on the job) to get through 5 interviews, and possibly fail on the last one. There are flaws in the screening process, and I can't make the time commitment to going back to college just to pass all the rounds of interviews. I love programming and software development, and am constantly learning on the job and in my free time when I can. I'm sure that I'm qualified to do the job, but am unsure that I'm qualified to pass the interviews at…
How its spread was exacerbated by people going into work sick because they had to or lose their job? Because my coworker officially has gotten me sick due to coming to work sick and not wearing a mask in spite of being sick. I can't stay home because I will be terminated if I miss any more days. After having to be out from a flu then covid spread through my coworkers.

I went to a pizza place earlier today in celebration of my in-law's kid raising lots of money for a school event. This establishment, let's call it “Crusties' Pizza”, greeted myself and anyone else that walked in immediately with a large white sign directly beside the cashier counter. Printed on the white sign in all capital, boldface red text was a message that blamed the extended wait times on shortstaffing which they claimed was “due to government and state handouts”. It's hardly the most offensive practice a business can employ, but the sign being in ready view of both the customers and employees felt incredibly bold and disrespectful. Not to mention, one could readily assume that the real root cause behind the businesses shortstaffed team is poor wages and poor benefits, as is usually the case when a business owner laments not being able to attract employees. I bet that…
