Why do I need to forge experience on a resume to get considered for a job that will pay a wage that let's someone live semi-comfortably.
So I got hired at a new job and everyone there mentioned they have at least two to three jobs all at the same time, I thought they just needed more money for their situations since that's how it usually is, but I noticed something off with the schedule, people were only being scheduled one to two days per week, wouldn't it be common sense to just give the current workers more hours instead of hiring people for one day of the week? Has this happened to anyone else? I mean, you'd think the manager would just give his already minimal amount of hours to his current workers, but I guess not. How do you feel about shoplifting? I want to emphasize that I mean shoplifting from giant corporate owned retail establishments; Wal-Mart, Target, National Grocery Chains, etc. Never from; Mom & Pop, small privately owned chains, etc. Or does shoplifting make a person shitty regardless?
I need someone smarter than me to figure this out but I had a shower thought. What if we all changed the tax withholding on our paychecks so that we stopped sending the government our money? I would be fine with dropping my tax money into a savings account and just pay at tax time if we can choke the government into finally listening to us. We need to cut off the steady stream of money and let them know that we are the ones paying the bills and that they work for us. Not sure if this is plausible but its something to think about? An organized tax strike would wake up a few people I think.
