Bernie Sanders Agenda
I don’t know why but I decided to go to Bernie Sanders page and now I regret it 🥲 I was reading everything he wants to do with medicare for all, housing for all, college for all, expanding social security, women’s rights, tax on extreme wealth, etc. And I just got depressed af. We really didn’t give this guy a chance? Bernie is the one that got away This man really wanted to fight for middle America and for the poor. It’s even more depressing knowing that he won’t be running for the presidency in 2024.
If so I think I’ve just found life long gap material – and thank you to everyone for helping me discover myself! Take care for everyone and don’t you EVER GIVE UP. EVER! Our shit bosses want to dominate us just because they “own” “capital” what a bunch of dorks! We will NOT LET THEM.
Spotify did something magical this moring and popped Harvey Danger – Flagpole Sitta on and I listened to it for the first time in over a decade, truly a song about keeping your shit together and wanting to be more and not being called crazy in the process. This suprized me as when I'm feeling particularly salty about the state of things my go to is System of a down, Rage against the machine, and Nirvana. Music speaks loudly, dont just listen to a song cause you like it, digest it to its core, and find relateability in what you take in cause you may find a message that disgusts you.
we had a situation at this company where they decided to go fully 24/7 so they needed to manage 3 shifts every day now in between covid and whatever they didnt have enough coverage so some people were asked to do 12-24 hr shifts so the company overreacted and hired too many people and 4 x 8hr days werent unheard of now with costs of living going up some people have asked for more shifts well what has happened is that if someone asks for another shift then someone has to lose out on a shift so someone on 4 days of work might be asked to go to 3 days at 8 hrs obviously 24hrs vs 32hrs a week is a fairly large loss of income further they sort of *asked” via sms as in they said, are you ok with this? I didnt respond via the sms as…
I work about 35 hours a week. That’s all I find I can do without seriously damaging my already messed up mental health. I already deal with bad PTSD, anxiety and depression. However I ALWAYS feel guilty for not working more. Like I should be more productive.
I (M20) am quite new at my job as a picker for an online retailer (Not Amazon). Since we're in germany, the pay is okay and enough to live off. No complaints there. But today happened something that I want to share here. So I was loading goods onto my pallet, and an older coworker (in his 50's) came to me and told me I should be pre sorting the stuff and put the heaviest things on the bottom instead of just loading them as they come. I asked why since it is no problem to load heavier stuff up top as long as the pallet is stable and safe to transport after wrapping it up (supervisors Statement). If it's not, I can just call for a new pallet instead. He told me it's just better looking and since I'm one of the very few non forgein workers, I should…
That's exactly how it says. My superior got into a huge argument with our boss because of god knows why and he got fired for that. This backfired into me, who was perfectly capable of doing his job, even better than him. Honestly, FUCK this company, just getting fired like that after everything I've done… I'm so stressed out with that, i wanna cry
