I earn decently above minimum wage, though obviously still severely under paid. My parents pay for all my bills, I have minimal student loans, and my car is only a couple years old and I got it at under 5k miles so it rarely needs stuff done. I don't even pay for my health insurance because I'm still on my parents'. All of this and I still cannot afford a surgery. Insurance wouldn't cover it because, despite the problem being caused by sexual violence and thus it being a major source of my mental disabilities being triggered bad, it is said to not be necessary. The cost of living is so high, especially for disabled people like me, before you even factor in bills and rent and all that.
