Stopping work due to electric fingers.
From computer use. Enjoying the enforced rest. Confirmed not CTS. By any chance, anyone knows how long more before the fingers go back to normal? Has been 2 weeks since from electric fingers became mild pins and needles.
Was wondering why this isn't a thing. We obviously are still forced to work so why don't we use the platform to promote companies that make life better and actually pay a livable wage? Hopefully it could make a change that propels other companies to follow their lead.
Hang in there or quit?
I have been working for this company for over a year. It’s a 500+ person company and I am on the marketing team. Initially it was a department of 5 people. I had been slowly starting to look for new jobs in late January because I was getting more work for no additional pay, and I am needing a change in my career and I would like to change industries. In late January, my coworker quit, leaving all of the website content and copywriting up to me in addition to social media. I didn’t complain about this and took it on but my productivity slowed and my mistakes have increased with the additional meetings, correspondence, and tasks. My boss noticed this and called me out for it but I told her I’m struggling with balancing this workload, I don’t have a job description and am very scattered accross almost all…
I never want to speak to them again, but I want to leave not in a dirty way.
I had a two part interview which I was happy with and after the HR director said that they are finishing that week and we’ll be in touch next week. I have been waiting by the phone for a whole week and nothing. I honestly would rather them just send an email that I was not eligible. I hate the anxiety and stress I’ve been facing all for a job that pays $15/hr. It’s not just the jobs that suck it’s the application process too.
work are trying to take over my life
OK, so I get good benefits. 33 days holiday, free medical cover and final salary pension amongst other perks. However, work have started phoning me on weekends and even holidays recently. I didn't sign up for this shit. I wanna work my hours then go home. Is this sort of shit becoming more normal, do u guys get this shit? If so how do you manage it?
