Job switched from inside to warehouse
So I started an inside sales/counter position . I was told I would be trained . Not once has the manager trained me. Instead I rely heavily on all help from my coworker. A few weeks into work I’m now working Half or more of my 8 hrs in the warehouse receiving stock. It’s hard on my body moving heavy large compressors n pipe. Glad they transferred the one warehouse guy. I don’t know how much I can handle
She says that showing up that early helps her “get ahead”… in the minimum wage job that he’s held for 4+ years. She feels like it makes our boss think more highly of her, but he agrees that it’s pointless and kind of sad. I will never understand why she wastes her time like this.

environmental concerns
So this powder coating company i used to work for has a fan to pull air through the building. Issue is a good bit of the powder the dust collector misses just blows out the building and onto the cornfeild behind the building. I quit due to bad safety, i wasnt informed i was useing hydrofloric acid in the wash tanks, no msds, lots of powder floating arround waiting for a spark, and the worst part was the boss made the employees pay for drinkable water. He poluted the water table (ground water) badly near his business with iron + the water was shit in the area to start with
They couldn’t even call him…
Stopping work due to electric fingers.
From computer use. Enjoying the enforced rest. Confirmed not CTS. By any chance, anyone knows how long more before the fingers go back to normal? Has been 2 weeks since from electric fingers became mild pins and needles.
Was wondering why this isn't a thing. We obviously are still forced to work so why don't we use the platform to promote companies that make life better and actually pay a livable wage? Hopefully it could make a change that propels other companies to follow their lead.
