The goal ought to be reducing labor, not increasing it.

Most Americans living outside of an urban area have to take a car just to get to work. instead of questioning spending habits they should be questioning wage ratio compared to CEO and Executive ratio.

if I was 5 minutes late to an interview it would ruin my chance of getting the job. but if an interviewer is 5 minutes late I’m suppose to be okay?

Today it happened again where an interviewer was 5 minutes late. I left the zoom call because I don’t understand why I should be okay with lateness. when it would 100% not be okay for a candidate to be late If i’m expected to be early then so should the interviewer.

Struggling with Gas prices..

My response from an earlier conversation i felt should be shared on a bigger post. Walk, Bike, or take a bus. Driving is a fundamental privilege, not a right or need. it's a WANT. And this is coming from someone who owns a car, but chooses to take buses whenever possible to save because the prices keep going higher, and yet my pay rate stays the same. Super old clip, but seeing it again got me wondering: would people who are anti-work be more likely to do this for a stranger given our ridiculous job application experiences?

From Hamish and Andy's radio show, the two call up some bloke and pretend to have put a random number down on their résumé as a reference and ask him to go along with if he gets called up by the potential employer. They then pretend to be the employer and ask about the candidate, whom he has actually never met. It's an interesting situation and I'm not even sure what I would say. I guess one thing that might impact my view would be what the actual job is. How do you think you would react and has anyone actually ever put a random number down, or even listed someone you may not even talk to anymore?
