So today was my first day it was supposed to be this Monday but the other cook called out and I was the only other experienced cook on hand so he called me in. When I got there he was standing at the entrance waiting for me and handed me a $20 visa card for coming in, which I was really greatful for because it wasn't one of those wack care packages I've been seeing on here lately. He explained that the other cook that was supposed to be there with me also called out. So i was in the kitchen all alone. In other…
hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. i'm young/ a teenager and i just want to know if working a normal job is really as terrible as it seems to be from this sub. I'm from an upper working class to middle class family and plan to go to college and i make pretty good grades. will i be able to get a job that sustains me and doesn't constantly take away my humanity? school already exhausts me very badly and i just don't want to have to do this until I die. And never get to experience life
