I get hourly/tipped pay, some days I work overtime and some days I get out early depending on how busy it is, so it balances out. I know that even if I work late at least I'm getting paid for being there, and I get holiday time and a half (tip wages so barely anything but still.) Our salaried supervisors on the other hand are short staffed, so they work overtime almost every day, for no extra pay, work holidays for no extra pay, are asked to come in on their days off for no extra pay. What even is the point? I wouldn't be able to handle working extra knowing I wasn't even being compensated for it.
Winner or looser?
My health prevented me from having work, disabled, went from school to permanently retired……….and i can't tell if I'm a winner or a looser. My days consists of nothing, your days consists of nothing but work……….and i can't tell who's in the worse spot
Just straight up lies
Tampa, FL wage theft
Anybody have a contact for a labor lawyer in Tampa? The owner of the bar I used to work at is refusing to give me a W-2 for 2021 and I don’t even know if I should file a claim with the department of labor or if I should do a consultation with a lawyer? I’m a little lost and need help.

In this, FOX Television Stations, Inc. is turning its back on 75 years of stable labor conditions and a productive labor-management relationship. FOX’s Broadcast Workers are asking for your support! Will you sign our petition demanding management return to the table with a fair proposal and negotiate in good faith? FOX’s latest proposal included provisions that would: Deprive the Union of its lawful right to bargain over terms and conditions of employment by offloading subjects of collective bargaining onto Company Handbooks and policies which can…
