In case anyone missed this
As the title says, today I interviewed for a new job. I asked if the work schedule is stable. The lady asked “what do you mean?”. I mean, in my current facility I've had my schedule drastically change from week to week. I might do 7pm-7am one week, 3pm-3am the next, the. 11pm-11am the week after. Her response: “how can they work people like that and expect them not to fall asleep on the job?!”. I thanked her profusely for agreeing with me. I'm doing a plant tour of their climate controlled facility next week 😀 Edit: spelling
Do you agree?
Found this gem
Our department is woefully understaffed, causing us to work weeknights and often on weekends. After some coworkers in a different department left, their work got dumped on us. We tried to get some assistance from a different department (IT) who better fit the task. Their upper management told us they didn't have the budget. The same week, our CEO did a live broadcast of the 4th quarter results and proudly claimed a record breaking year with nearly $500million in profit (not revenue). So I guess we did have the budget?
Positive covid
