So my first real day for work starts tomorrow however I am completely flooded in due to the on going rain in my area (I live in Qld, Australia). So I called up so they could have a good amount of notice to find a replacement. All I got was a passive aggressive phone call that ended with being hung up on. There's alot wrong with the company as I previously worked there and I ONLY came back for the money. Backstory: My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. She got therapy and maybe 3 months ago, she seemed fine again. My grandmother lives 450km away from us, so it was difficult to visit her. We were able to visit her only once in a few years, luckily we were able to visit her during christmas 2021. This was the first and last cristmas after 6 years. A month ago, her condition got worse and worse and they discovered an untreatable brain tumor. My mother ofcourse was very stressed and worried, was busy with work, worried about her mother, she had a small surgery herself and her company made a huge scene, because she had to stay home for 3 days. But now, a week ago, she got a call, that her mother was about to die and it was urgent for her to come, if she wanted to…

I finished uni, then shortly after did a short course, a few months later found a crappy internin marketing, now how im back at the cycle of job searching. It is still difficult because the 6 months is clearly not enough, and the jobs want me to have at least a year. I'm looking at interns but even then… at least a year. How will I get experience or land mt first actual job if everywhere wants like 2+ years of experience?? I'm baffled
