I might be forced to move to a different country. I have a debilitating chronic illness that makes working very difficult. I’m only 21. If I have to work, I can find a place to live that has the best working conditions at the very least. I hear places like Denmark have adopted the 4 day work week. Dunno if that’s true, though it’d be pretty sweet if it was.

Companies: “We're seeing record profits! Way to go!” Also companies: “Let's raise prices so we profit even more!” Also, also companies: “Let's not raise wages and also gut employee benefits so we profit EVEN MORE!” Also, also, also companies: “Let's make one person do the job of 6-8 people so we profit EVEN MORE!” Also, also, also, ALSO companies: “No OnE wAnTs To WoRk!! 🥲”

idk last time i checked i didn’t ask to be born why should i be worked to death just to barley afford to eat? everytime i bring this up people automatically say something along the lines of “oh well that’s just how the world works” “everything can’t be free or people won’t work” but why is it like this? we shouldn’t have to be forced to work in order to survive and that’s just that

Two years ago I told my class professor for my union class that I was going to miss a day because of a surgery. They are very strict with attendance. I asked to be advised. She suggested I contact the director for clear guidance. Mind y’all, I was stepping out of my oncologists office right after they told me all the horrible things they would do to my body and all of the horrible side effects that would come alongside with it. There was an 85% chance I was supposed to die. I was in the waiting room in between appointments when I sent these. I needed to get my affairs in order ASAP.
