Today at Popeyes I saw a kid being berated by his boss and it broke my heart.

I deliver food for GrubHub and today I went to pick up an order at Popeyes. The two people working the counter were an older woman who looked like she was either a severe alcoholic or recovering meth addict. The other was a young guy that was probably 16-18 years old and you could tell he was trying but he wasn't moving as fast as the older lady (the manager I believe) would've liked. She was yelling at him “you are going too damn slow! you've been working here long enough you should know better!” “And you wonder why I only schedule you on weekends…” She picked up the box he was packing with food and said “how do you expect to use this box for this order? this box is way too small! Are you stupid?” And slammed the box down. The boy was obviously humiliated, customers started leaving…
