Some of the rules that I've had at certain workplaces that I think were incredibly stupid: Must have tattoos covered up (I've always thought this was a dumb rule, stopping people from expressing themselves just because some old farts think all people with tattoos are criminals) No listening to music even with one headphone in (again a stupid rule, it's actually been proven people are more productive if they get to listen to their own music that calms them and makes them focus) Must wear a full suit and tie even though you don't see or face any customers in the role (making people wear uncomfortable clothing for 8 hours a day without any good reason)
