Instead of saying we should have 1 more day off as in 4+3 we could more easily implement a rolling 4+2 work week. It would almost be as much work as 5+2: 4 work days X 5 weeks = 20 2 days off x 5 = 10 vs 5 work days X 4 = 20 2 days off X 4 = 8

We just received our STI (yearly bonus) And it’s funny how they think that we should or even have to say thank you for this meager bonus. For back story I work Night Shift and our turn over has been ridiculous. I work some crazy hours sometime to cover shifts all this to have freaking 5 percent bonus. Dude I missed Xmas thanksgiving New Years 4th July, my bday, kids bday family events for the past year to have 5 percent bonus. I have not had a singe vacation in the last 8/9 months I take days off but those are my weekends. I called in once for family emergency.. I’m super disappointed but no wonder nobody gives more

I am so done with not getting breaks and being understaffed in healthcare! I’m a cna and most of the time I end up working in a dementia unit… which is fine! My issue is that I never get a break. I’ve been working at this place and other facilities like it for 7 years and it’s all the same… totally understaffed, always too many people to take care of, and not nearly enough money or respect for what we do! Sometimes I am the only aide in charge of around 40 people…. That is definitely not safe and I don’t want something serious to happen just because healthcare faculties can’t bother to staff properly because they’re trying to save money 🤦‍️🤦‍️

My store manager's name is Jim. He's a shithead, nobody likes him. When two people are having a conversation while working (we do logistics for a hardware store) he descends upon us with “stop talking and start working,” even though we're working all the time. The other day, my supervisor was in a foul mood and heard me and a coworker talking while we worked. She got onto us for talking “instead” of working, and I jokingly responded with “ok Jim.” Then we continued working, nothing was said past that point. Today I was written up for insubordination. The report says that after I said “ok Jim,” I continued to be belligerent and argue. Which is a blatant lie, this never happened. I don't have to patience or energy to argue over something so small.
