Damn even the FBI is desperate for help
A small win for me
I’ve noticed that the vast majority of posts on this subreddit are fairly negative. Through no fault of their own, people are tired of getting shit on by their employers. So I figured I’d post something positive and previously unthinkable at my job. A year after I joked about starting earlier and getting done earlier to my boss, he approached me a few weeks ago and asked how I felt about working a 7-5, four day week instead of the current 8-5, five day week. He's had separate meetings with us all to ask if working at the buying company would be “something we're interested in.”—which makes me think having a new job/position is not assured. If this is happening above-board, can I renegotiate my salary with the new employer? My primary concern is somehow I get in a spot where I'm not officially fired just ghosted on given that it seems my company doesn't even exist anymore. How can I ensure…
