So I’m about to have my first ever exit interview this week. Normally I just quit without notice but since I’m quitting a big hotel chain I figured I would put a notice in in case I find myself needing a job. Anyways my question is do they normally send you home right after or will I have to still work my shift that day. My shifts are from 2-10 pm and hr is usually gone by 3 or 4. Thanks

I started an entry level data entry job on feb 20th. it is a 9 to 5 with a 30 minute lunch break if you want to take it. one of the first things i was told when i came to work the first day is that you don’t need to take a 30 minute lunch break if you don’t want to. After my first week of work someone in the accounting department quit, and then the girl I sat next to also quit the next week. they both quit via email; effective immediately. their job consisted of splitting the daily reports of over 44 stores containing 6 days of data for each store that they had to input into excel. i was hired to look over invoices, but a couple of days after the person i sat next to me quit I was shown for maybe an hour and…

in 3 separate occasions male colleagues who are not superiors have intimidated and treated female employee in a demeaning way. each time female employee complains to female boss she was told “don't be sensitive” “that is how men are” “this is the industry”. Female employee in good faith complains to HR about her boss always condoning the way the men treats her and minimizes her complaints. HR meets with boss the following day and on the same day retaliates against the female employee by taking away her new office. I guess my question is. Is the female employees complaint protected under the law? thanks.
