Pretty much what the title says, I'm thinking about leaving a job that's been damaging my mental health but every time I talk to any of the older adults in my life they just tell me to stick it out. I'm assuming that it should be more formal than scribbled on a sticky note, but considering that's about how formal anything else here seems to be it's tempting. Anyways, anybody have any advice?

all the facts and data is already out there. we all know. talking about it online is useless. we have run that course. there is no new information that can come out about how we are being screwed that will shock me or further enlighten me about how bad we have it.. so have we complained to deaf ears enough? we have done that for months.. years.. to no avail.. is april going to be just another month of complaining into the void.. when are we actually going to focus on solutions and actions instead complaining about things we have been complaining about for years? this sub is actually making me lose faith more than gain faith as the longer i am hear.. the more i realize none of you actually have any intention on doing anything other than complaining day after day about the same shit we all know.

So I texted my boss yesterday that yesterday was my last day working there (after trying to negotiate a part time schedule because of medical reasons I can’t work full time anymore, and I just got a “you’re not grateful” tone and attitude, and they knew about it bc I did ended up in the ER months ago WHILE on the clock). I never sent a resignation email however because after I sent that text I had lunch and drove to work and got out at 10pm and I just wanted to shower, eat, and KO. I hope it all makes sense, thanks!

We have a new Designer joined the team. I am almost on a route becoming a Senior Designer but this new Designer is causing clashes and political drama in the office. I think she sees me as a threat of promotion. It’s really causing me stress, anxiety and mental issues which is causing me energy and productive issues. The new Designer butts in every conversation on Slack even if it’s not meant for her, and whenever someone comes to see me for opinions she again butts in the conversation again and side tracks the entire conversation. She talks, messages on Slacks and writes email 90% of the day and 10% on an actual Design task and yet been given overtime to complete her tasks. While also the new Designer causing big fuss over nothing something wasting everyone’s time. I told the Director she’s wasting time over fuss and the Director…
