It allows employers to legally lie and make things up to fire you. Everyone defending grossly unjust work laws in America need to be fired today immediately and arbitrarily from their favorite jobs. Then fired from their next job ASAP after that for no legitimate reason at all too. Lord knows these people have never met the standards they enforce on everyone else. They all need to be homeless from losing their jobs indefinitely at will until it clicks gee maybe this ain't right after all.
About eight months ago I told my boss that I wanted a pay rise and he told me he’d “get back to me”. I’m giving him two weeks notice in mid April. I’m the lead hand and do most of the difficult work (carpenter). Setting out the footings and foundations for new projects. Trim, kitchen installs, you name it and I do it. I’m going out on my own again. I was promised all kinds of things that never materialized. Anyway he’s going to freak and I don’t care.

I’ve been pondering a thought for a while that has been bugging me. The stock market, the machine, all the bullshit runs on money that you earn and save. So stop. Stop putting money in 401k’s that some investment board then uses to fuck you, stop putting money in banks that invest your money to fuck you. Exchange your lump sum liquid cash for physical assets, gold, silver, the works. Spend that shit in a way that doesn’t stimulate the economy. Lock your working capital down and prevent capitalist consumerist scum from using it against you. Burn the system to the fucking ground. It will hurt in the short term, but the only way out of this mess is to absolutely nuke the fucking problem. Prevent the flow of money. Prevent your life from being boiled down to a number on a balance sheet that can be used to further…
