My manager was getting frustrated (clearly) at work and after multiple back and forths she said “I wish I could hit you right now” and it wasn't sarcastic. She was working from home today. Is there anything I can do to cover myself when going to HR? I don't want to outright quit yet because then I wouldn't get unemployment. Located in WI
Clever move by the Koreans.
“look, we told them about the plan and they all just said “Nice.”
Or as spoken in an appropriate accent, a FARKIN WANKAH! This fucking bold headed, Lex Luther looking motherfucker, talking like an entitled elitist with retirement fund enough to run a small country, talking this garbage. And just to clarify, the National Party has insisted on pushing the retirement age to 67 for over 5 years now. This isn't an one off incident, nor a concluded matter. It is still ongoing.

System Isn’t Broken
I am 25 and just finished all my education and studies. Now I am looking for a job. Im not from the US. A family member of mine worked at a place she heavily recommended to me and there are two similar jobs pretty close to me as well. I applied to all of them a little over 3 weeks ago. Only a couple of days later one responded, invited me and did everything to convince me to stay. (Not in a pushy way, it seems a good place really) The other two, including the one I got recommend, only sent me an automated mail about my application being received, but nothing more. The job that already responded had me for the interview today and offered to let me sign all papers in one week so I could potentially start right into the next month. I told my friends, who…
Make the Schedule in Advance
My family member, who is disabled and hasn't worked for many years, started working recently part time at a 'dollar store.' The store manager makes next week's schedule on Saturday, which gives employees 1 day's notice to know if they are working Sunday. I wanted to take her somewhere last week and she couldn't confirm if she was working until the day before. It is so entitled of this manager to make his employees and their families put everything on hold because he can't take 15 minutes to make the schedule a week in advance. Is this normal policy for these types of establishments, and is it legal? I also find it comical that this manager complains about employees calling out so often. 0% awareness.
I mean, why expend all that energy slaving at some 9 to 5 that you despise just making ends meet. If you ain't making 6 figures at least why waste your time. Why elevate your stress levels. I'm quitting my job to go live off that government cheese man. I'm a us and swiss citizen. I used to live off that government cheese in Switzerland and it was the best time of my life man. They never even pushed me to go find a new job I'm going back to that once I get done with this job I got 2 months from now. I'm going right back to Switzerland. That Swiss government cheese will put me in a decent little spot. My insurances is paid, I get my monthly allowance. What else could you ask for? Peace of mind first priority and I'm a simple man. I will have…
